About Us
For more than a decade, Nursery Products has provided essential recycling and composting services to San Bernardino County and surrounding communities.
We use a composting process that has been approved by the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state regulators to recycle yard clippings, wood, green waste, and biosolids into Class A compost and fertilizer that farmers use to grow their crops.
Our work is critical to enabling the communities we serve to meet California’s recycling mandates, including the SB 1383 requirement to reduce the amount of organic materials sent to landfills by 75 percent by 2025.
By keeping organic materials out of landfills, our recycling process reduces emissions of greenhouse gases, especially methane, one of the most potent causes of climate change. The fertilizer we produce replaces chemicals and helps restore native soils to their full productive potential and our compost replenishes organic matter, retains soil moisture, and rebuilds topsoil. Using our products sequesters CO₂ and other greenhouse gases and helps farmers grow more crops with less chemical fertilizer and water, providing a more sustainable alternative to synthetics.
